About The Course

A Four-part, full arch immediate load training session to include strategies for improved case acceptance, clinical lecture, hands-on full arch prosthetic training, live surgery and immediate conversion of a full arch implant supported fixed prosthesis.

Phase One: Recognizing Full-arch Immediate Load Candidates and Strategies for Achieving Higher Levels of Case Acceptance
Speakers: Dr. Ryan Kazemi, Mr. Marcus Hines

20% of all American adults wear some form of removable partial- or full-denture. When these patients are recognized and appropriately presented with comprehensive treatment options, several choose a full arch implant supported solution. In an aging population, how do you recognize such patients within your practice and what case presentation strategies are necessary for consistent higher levels of case acceptance in an increasingly consumer awareness marketplace? In this course we will focus on:

  • Internal marketing approaches for identifying full-arch implant supported cases within your practice
  • Conducting an effective full arch implant consultation with great visual aids and verbal skills
  • Understanding the significance of full arch global fees, treatment finance and dental insurance
  • Streamlining doctor-to-doctor, doctor-to-laboratory and doctor-to-patient communications for improved case acceptance and profitability

Phase Two: Adopting a Full Arch Immediate Load Digital Workflow for Efficiency and Predictability
Speakers: Dr. Robert Stanley, Mr. Amir Juzbasic, CDT

Increasingly, a digital workflow is having a positive and lasting impact on the way we treat to care for our patients. Full arch implant dentistry is no different. When fully guided implant surgical protocols are used in full arch implant dentistry, the process of delivering the patient’s fixed provisional prosthesis on the same day as surgery simplifies the process and dramatically reduces chair time. Delivering the final definitive prosthesis also requires fewer appointments, fewer adjustments, and improved predictability when a digital workflow is followed.  In this course we will focus on:

  • Understanding the basics of full arch implant restorations – fixed vs. removable, A/P spread, the rationale of immediate load, hygiene, lip support, etc.
  • Restorative advantages made possible when a digital surgical workflow is followed in full arch implant dentistry
  • Exploring various full arch restorative solutions
  • Treatment planning process and role of the surgeon, dentist, and laboratory for an optimal outcome in full arch implant dentistry

Phase Three: Two-day, Full Arch Hands-on Session Live Surgery and Full Arch Immediate Patient
Speakers: Mr. Amir Juzbasic, Dr. Robert Stanley, Dr. Ryan Kazemi

Understanding the process required to create a definitive full arch dental implant prosthesis helps to build confidence in the offering of this service. And working with an experienced laboratory technician to achieve the fit, form, function, shade, phonetics and an ideal midline requires following a protocol. In this course we will focus on:

  • Prosthetic hands-on didactic training on full-arch implant models
  • Restorative Visit 1: Including custom tray; sectioned verification jig; taking accurate final impressions
  • Restorative Visit 2: Including frame try-in and setup; fit, form, function, phonetics; final adjustments prior to fabrication of the prosthesis
  • Restorative Visit 3: Final delivery; torque values; occlusion
  • Case review of Saturday’s live patient treatment plan
  • Live full-arch surgery and immediate load prosthetic conversion demonstration (On Saturday, April 15th, 2017)
