Description: In this course, Shavonne Healy, will introduce the role of the Implant Care Practitioner (ICP) and discuss how dental teams can collaborate with the ICP to better serve patients with dental implants. She will also present  innovations in dental hygiene diagnostics, maintenance, and treatment protocols to prevent and manage peri-implant disease.

Participants will learn:

• How to recognize early signs of peri-implant disease
• Strategies to prevent peri-implant disease
• Treatment modalities and tools to manage peri-implantitis and peri-implant mucositis
